Preferred soil conditions:
Moist, well drained organic soil types. Small amount of clay and sand acceptable. Although they are found near water and wetter locations, Larch will do their best with no standing water for lengths of time.
Mulch after planting and water as necessary for the first year and periods of drought thereafter.
